New Ranching Opportunity

The adventure continues.  We had a great time going through the Verde Valley on our first train ride since we lived in Germany in 1982......been awhile.....

 and attending a crazy, silly, country western show at the Blazin' M Ranch.  We had several recommendations about this show and when we first arrived we were skepitcal, to say the least.  But it turned out great!  Here is Sharon and I putting our best face forward,

And then Sharon got arrested until supper time........

Today we visited Sedona, a beautiful place known for its new age approach to explaining life.  As we walked around town, I was constantly reminded of the alternatives being offered in handling the issues of life......things like what the future holds, relationships, handling stress, and processing how we got here in the first place and where we are supposed to be heading.........all things God has given us insights about at the least and straight directives at best........as I watched a lady make an appointment to meet with a psychic reader and pay 50 dollars for the chance.......I was reminded about how often we hear that what God has to offer us is somehow inferior and should be viewed that way.......in these areas and more, and how often we believe it........

Then I thought of James  1:5 where James encourages us - If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him........He has already paid the price for access to the answers of life, life that is abundant now and everlasting as later unfolds.....
May we be people who ask the Lord........
